📌 Platform Purpose
Shopal is a digital marketplace operated by Ganga Kisan Enterprises, connecting customers with nearby shops across food & cakes, gifts, flowers, kids' items, stationery, beauty essentials and seasonal specials. Shopal itself does not prepare, stock or manufacture any product listed.
🏪 Shopkeeper Responsibility
Shopkeepers are fully responsible for product quality, hygiene, freshness, pricing, preparation and accurate packaging of every order they confirm.
🛵 Delivery Partner Responsibility
Delivery partners are independent partners, not Shopal employees. They are responsible for picking up, handling and delivering orders safely, on time and with courtesy.
🚫 Prohibited Activity
- • Fake listings or copied photos
- • Misleading prices or descriptions
- • Expired or unsafe products
- • Fraudulent transactions
- • Harassment or abusive behaviour
Important Notice
Shopal is not directly responsible for disputes relating to:
- • Product quality or taste complaints
- • Delayed preparation by a shop
- • An incorrect product supplied
- • Damage caused after correct delivery
Such matters are first reviewed by our support team, and responsibility is assigned to the shop or delivery partner found at fault — reported disputes are actively investigated, not ignored.
💳 Payments
All payments are made through Shopal's secure, licensed payment gateway at checkout. Applicable GST and platform fees are shown as separate line items before you pay.
🔐 User Accounts
You must keep your login details secure. Any activity performed through your account is considered your responsibility.
🛡️ Platform Rights
Shopal may suspend accounts, remove listings, update policies or restrict access where misuse or a violation of these Terms is detected.
📅 Policy Updates
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Shopal after an update means you accept the latest version.
